Woodland Cloak-Making & Forest Bathing
October 14–17, 2027 · With Tam Willey & Travis Clough
Make a cloak. Wander the woods. Come back for dinner.
A three-night October weekend of making, forest bathing, good food, and time on the farm. Join Tam and Travis at Casa Portal to sew your own woodland cloak, explore the fall woods, and gather for meals, music, and storytelling.
No sewing or forest bathing experience needed. Come on your own or bring a friend.
Your weekend includes
- Your cloak-making kit: choose from provided fabric kits, with fabric and materials included. You’re welcome to bring your own fabric—we’ll share guidance beforehand.
- Cloak-making with Travis: instruction and support throughout the weekend, plus sewing machines and tools.
- Guided forest bathing with Tam: sensory walks and invitations to slow down and notice the woods and meadows.
- Three nights in your selected accommodation, or a camping space for your own setup.
- Chef Pete’s seasonal meals, from Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast, plus snacks, coffee, tea, and nonalcoholic drinks.
- A sound bath, evening gatherings, and downtime to visit the sheep, wander the trails, or settle in on the porch.
Your fabric kit, materials, and instruction are included in the price—there’s no additional kit fee. Everyone shares the same programming and meals; ticket prices vary by accommodation.
