This ANFT Forest Therapy Guide Training Immersion is a closed, professional container designed for participants enrolled in the ANFT Forest Therapy Guide Certification program.

Held at Casa Portal in Maine, the immersion is guided by ANFT-certified forest therapy guides Tam Willey of Toadstool Walks and Nadine Mazzola. The experience offers in-depth, place-based training rooted in sensory awareness, seasonal relationship, and extended time practicing forest therapy within a consistent landscape.

Forest bathing—also known as forest therapy—is a guided, sensory-based practice of immersion in nature. Rather than hiking or achieving a destination, participants are invited to move slowly, notice what is present, and engage the forest through sight, sound, touch, and breath. The practice supports presence, nervous system regulation, and a deepened relationship with the natural world.
